In 2024 Dagestan cognac producers plan to maintain the production volume at the level of last year, the regional Committee on Viticulture and Alcohol Regulation reports. In January-June of 2024, the local cognac manufacturers produced 651.8 thousand decalitres (dal) of products, a 31.6% increase compared to the same period of 2023. The Committee official noted that Kizlyar and Derbent were the leading producers of cognac in Dagestan during the first half of the year.
