Zurab Kuchchaev, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Dagestan told that in the coming years, agricultural products from the republic should constitute a significant portion of the food market in the North Caucasian Federal District. This opinion was expressed following discussions and meetings held during industry events.

Kuchchaev pointed out that domestic goods currently account for more than 50% of sales, having completely replaced imported products. Furthermore, the top official underscored the consistent growth observed in Dagestan's agro-industrial sector, a trend frequently acknowledged by industry leaders as indicative of its sustained progress and promising investment opportunities.
