Dagestan requires approximately 400 base stations in order to ensure comprehensive coverage of its territory with mobile communication services and mobile internet, as stated by Rizvan Gazimagomedov, deputy prime minister of Dagestan. According to official data, 76 of these facilities were installed in 2023, followed by another 36 in 2024.
