From 2026 to 2027, Dagestan authorities plan to build new gas pipelines in 22 municipalities, including the mountainous area. It is planned to lay another 660 kilometers of inter-settlement and 990 kilometers of intra-settlement gas pipelines at the expense of PJSC Gazprom's investments.

At the same time, it is planned to build about 60 kilometers of gas networks from 2025 to 2027 at the expense of the republican budget. At present, the gasification rate in Dagestan is higher than the Russian average and ranges from 75 to 77 per cent.
