The residents of Dagestan spend more money in cafes and restaurants than the residents of all other regions of the North Caucasian Federal District combined. In the North Caucasian Federal District as a whole, the turnover in the catering sector amounted to RUB 49 billion, which means that Dagestan accounts for more than half of the turnover in the district (RUB 25.5 billion in the republic). Incidentally, this figure is 1.8% higher than last year's figures.
