Dagestanis to present business plans in Enactus-2015 entrepreneurial project championship in Moscow

Makhachkala, May 7, 2015. Dagestani students will participate in the national championship of student entrepreneurial projects Enactus-2015 which is scheduled to run May 27-28 in Moscow, a source in Dagestani branch of the Russian State University of Tourism and Service told RIA Dagestan.
The championship held by international Enactus nonprofit organization has three steps - regional, national, and world ones. Dagestani regional step was conducted at the premises of Photon Technopark in Makhachkala. It attracted students of Dagestani universities, Dagestan Industrial and Economic College, and guests from Chechen State University.
The jury of the championship included Dagestan minister of youth affairs Z. Kurbanov, head of the Center for Business Education G. Hizriev, head of the European Consulting Center of the republic L. Magomedov, chairman of Dagestan Association of Farms and Agricultural Cooperatives M. Abdurakhmanov, and other representatives of the business community of the region.
They sel ected the students of the Makhachkala branch of the Russian State University of Tourism and Service as the best team, the title of the best project competition went to the development of students from Dagestan State Institute of National Economy named "Arranged garbage", and in the category "Innovative ideas", the prize was given to students of Dagestan State Agricultural University.
The winners of the event will represent Dagestan in the national championships in Moscow on May 27-28. The winners of the national championships will meet with the winners fr om other countries at the Enactus World Cup in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Russian students have been presenting their business plans at the championships for 17 years. To date, projects aimed at addressing economic, environmental and social issues have been selected in 40 regions of the country. Dagestan has hosted the selection for the first time ever.
