Derbent, Ufa and Irkutsk topped the list of Russian destinations with the most affordable accommodation options for the New Year's holidays, with average prices not exceeding RUB 3,500 per day. These findings were reported by analysts of one of the Russian online accommodation reservation services.

The average daily rent for holiday stays was RUB 3,166 rubles in Derbent, RUB 3,337 in Ufa and RUB 3,387 in Irkutsk. Other destinations that made it into the top 10 with the lowest rates include Kirov, Cheboksary, Yessentuki, Arkhangelsk, Anapa and Krasnodar.

Overall, the average cost of an apartment rental in Russia for these holidays makes RUB 6,500, with prices having increased by an average of 10% compared to previous year indices.
