Dagestan company Agroinvest LLC intends to complete an investment project on creation of a breeding farm for Ayshir breed of cows by 2024. The company received funds in the amount of 74 million rubles for the project realization due to the entry of Dagestan Development Corporation into its authorized capital.

"The funds were used to purchase 150 heads of Scottish Ayshire breed of cows, agricultural machinery for the milking hall, as well as to build a hangar and a calf house for 150 places" the Corporation official reports.

The uniqueness of the investment project, as explained in the Corporation, is that this breed of cows is characterized by one of the best in dairy farming and has high productivity. The resulting milk is planned to be processed into cheese, kefir, sour cream, cottage cheese and pasteurized milk. It is also expected to purchase equipment for the cheese factory.
