Dagestan's Ministry of Agriculture and Food has reported a remarkable increase in vegetable production in the region. By mid-August, the local farmers had harvested a remarkable 528,000 tons of vegetables from a total area of 16,500 hectares.

The region's favourable climate and the use of advanced agricultural techniques allow for multiple harvests throughout the year from the same field, effectively ensuring a steady supply of fresh produce. This consistent abundance makes Dagestan's vegetables highly sought-after, particularly during times when fresh produce is less readily available elsewhere.
