In Dagestan, 5 big-scale green energy investment projects worth around RUB 67.5 billion are currently underway, Marat Shikhaliyev, the head of the regional Energy Ministry says. These projects include the construction of wind farms in Novolak, Makhachkala and Derbent, as well as solar power plants in Nogai and Samur regions, with a combined capacity of 478 megawatts. Once completed, these facilities are expected to generate approximately RUB 400 million in tax revenues for the regional budget.
