The harvest of apricots in Dagestan in 2024 may exceed 40 thousand tons. According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture, this is 1.6 thousand tons or 4.1% more than the last year indices. A small increase is explained by favorable weather conditions, as well as the development of horticulture in the republic.

Apricots are actively grown in the mountainous part of the republic: in Gergebil, Botlikh and Untsukul municipal districts. As of July 1, 2024 the gross harvest of apricots amounted to 14.1 thousand tons.
