Dagestan's Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced the establishment of a new textile production facility in Karaty village. The shop will manufacture a range of textile goods, including home furnishings such as bed linens, curtains, tablecloths, napkins and towels, alongside tailored clothing and accessories.
This project, valued at RUB 209 million, is anticipated to generate 60 new employment opportunities for the local residents. Construction of the shop building is finalized, with interior finishing touches completed and the surrounding area landscaped, featuring a playground and park. The workforce will be composed of individuals from Karaty village and neighboring communities, with on-site training programs provided by the enterprise.
Currently, Pront LLC, the investor behind this initiative, has expended RUB 128 million and is seeking additional funding to procure necessary equipment, machinery, and inventory to commence full-scale production. This project was facilitated by the allocation of a 0.5-hectare plot of land by the Head of the Republic of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, underscoring the government's commitment to attracting large-scale investments.
