The regional hub for wool processing and warehousing, currently being established in Dagestan, encompasses a network of eight entities engaged in investment projects amounting to a staggering RUB 350 million. This cluster comprises two wool-growing farms, three enterprises specializing in wool processing and three companies for manufacture of industrial end products.

These initiatives aim to expand the production of washed wool up to 3,200 tons annually, establish the manufacture of yarn and knitted goods based on tolling raw materials and initiate the production of knitted garments.
