The implementation of a large-scale investment project - the construction of the "Kpul-Yatar" tourist health center, has begun in Suleiman-Stalski municipal district of Dagestan. During his working visit to the district, the Head of the Republic of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, personally inspected the progress of the construction. "Kpul-Yatar" will be located in the village of Orta-Stal on a historically rich territory. The local thermal springs and healing muds are known for their beneficial properties. The planned complex will be a major center for health tourism and will offer guests a wide range of rest and recovery services.
According to Feruza Karimova, the representative of the investor, the total area of the sanatorium makes 5 thousand square meters. The complex will include a hotel with 80 rooms, cottages, a medical and wellness center with swimming pools, baths, saunas and separate areas for medical treatments. The construction is in progress. At the moment, earthworks are being completed and a dormitory for workers and a compact concrete factory have been built, which has allowed for a significant acceleration of the construction process. The project is planned for completion in 2027.
The head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, expressed his confidence in success of the project and its significance for the development of the regional tourism infrastructure. Melikov pointed out that "Kpul-Yatar" is not just a sanatorium, but a complex with a potential to become an attractive destination for tourists from various parts of Russia and beyond. As to Melikov, this is a significant step in promoting tourism in Dagestan and improving the investment climate within the republic.
Melikov's visit to the municipality took place on the eve of the meeting of the Council on Improving the Investment Climate in Dagestan. Dagestani Head personally oversees the implementation of important projects to ensure that they are aligned with their stated goals and timelines. The construction of Kupl-Yatar is a prime example of how Dagestan is leveraging its tourism potential through attracting investment and creating modern recreational and wellness facilities.
