In May 2025, Makhachkala Commercial Sea Port achieved a record-breaking cargo transshipment volume of 85,000 tons, exceeding the previous high of 83.5 thousand tons recorded in April. Cement constituted a significant majority of this transshipped cargo, representing over 80,000 tons.  Furthermore, the cumulative cement transshipment for the first five months of 2025 reached 250,000 tons, signifying a 30% increase compared to the corresponding period in the preceding year.
