Dagestan makes significant strides in overhauling its transportation infrastructure under the national Infrastructure for Life project. By the end of the third quarter of 2025, repair works have been completed on 24 road sections, two of which are already open to traffic.
To date, contractors have laid over one million square meters of new asphalt pavement. This progress has brought 140.5 kilometers of regional roads up to modern standards.
This large-scale initiative aims to radically improve the condition of Dagestan's road network. The enhancements are expected to boost transport connectivity between settlements, thereby improving quality of life for residents and stimulating regional economic growth.
