The Federal Autonomous Institution "Main Directorate of State Expertise" has formally approved a road infrastructure project integral to the development of the Coastal Caspian Cluster seaside resort in Dagestan's Derbent district.
This project entails the construction of over 15 kilometers of roadways, engineered to handle a peak hourly traffic flow of 105 vehicles. Access to the resort will be facilitated by two checkpoints, complemented by an expansive network of pedestrian pathways and 28 designated public transportation stops. Projections suggest that the resort has the potential to attract up to 700,000 tourists annually by 2030.
