As to the Head of the Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investments of the Republic of Dagestan Khadzhimurad Israpilov, six companies plan to become the first residents of the future "dry port" in Dagestan. According to the government official, preliminary agreements have been reached with 5-6 potential residents representing various industries, such as construction materials production and the food industry. Israpilov noted that additional due diligence is currently being conducted on these companies and more specific information will be presented in the first quarter of 2026.
