During the first quarter of 2025, Dagestan completed the construction of residential buildings with a combined area of 433,900 square meters. This is 2.6 times less compared to the same period in 2024, according to official statistics.

Private houses continue to dominate in terms of housing construction. However, experts attribute this sharp decline in indicators to a decrease in registration of property rights, as well as to severe inspections and delays in the construction process for apartment buildings.
