Zurab Mammadaev participates in seminars of Council of Europe and European Union
Astrakhan, Astrakhan region, April 29, 2015. Head of Dagestan business ombudsman administration Zurab Mammadaev participated in the seminars of the Council of Europe and the European Union, the press service of the business of the Business Ombudsman told RIA Dagestan.
The seminars on "Corruption risks and business rights protection mechanisms in the Russian Federation" and "Protecting entrepreneurs fr om corrupt practices in the Russian Federation" were taking place April 21-23 in Astrakhan.
On April 21, the first part of the seminar featured the first panel discussion wh ere the Astrakhan region business ombudsman told about the basics of functioning of the business ombudsman institute and how business entities’ complaints are considered.
On April 22-23, there was a workshop for regional business ombudsmen which consisted of two parts. The first one - "Basic anti-corruption concepts" included discussing the corresponding conceptual apparatus, highlighting the main features of corrupt practices in Russia, reviewing international standards of combating corruption and mechanisms of anti-corruption policy in Russia.
The event was also attended by officials from the Russian Business Ombudsman Administration, representatives of regional business ombudsman administrations, members of business associations and international organizations.
At the end of the event, participants were awarded certificates.
