Makhachkala, July 13, 2016. On July 12, Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov attended the exhibition "Inspired by Dagestan" dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Honored Artist of Dagestan Klara Vlasova.
Despite her advanced age, Vlasova continues her creative activity. Dagestani Head has highly appreciated Vlasova’s love to Dagestani villages Chokh and Kumukh. According to the painter, she married in Kumukh and long lived in her own house in Chokh.
Speaking about the significant contribution to the culture of Dagestan and the greatness of art, Ramazan Abdulatipov, in particular, said:
"Thanks to the talent from God, Klara Vlasova became a great woman, who creates her own world. Vlasova discovered ancient Dagestan; however, she has been creating her own image and vision of our republic all these years. Klara is a very talented woman, a significant property of Dagestan. I believe that she is one of the great creators, whose name and art will live as long as Dagestan lives. Through her eyes, we can open native Dagestan anew ".
Besides, Abdulatipov noted that Klara Vlasova would be awarded with the title of People's Artist of Dagestan. In addition, Dagestani Leader proposed to invite some artists from other regions of the country, in particular from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
"The painters from other parts of Russia could draw landscapes, and we, in turn, are willing to allocate grants from the national budget and provide them the conditions and the means to live," – Abdulatipov resumed.
