The XVII International Music Festival "Port-Petrovskie Assemblies", held within the framework of the national project "Culture", has ended with a brilliant final concert. The finale of the festival featured masterpieces of world classics - works by Robert Schumann and Pyotr Tchaikovsky performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the Dagestan Opera and Ballet Theatre conducted by Nikolai Shugaev (Czech Republic).

The pianist Fatima Merdanova (Czech Republic) amazed the audience with the filigree technique and picturesque timbre of her performance.

Minister of Culture of Dagestan Zarema Butayeva noted that the festival is an important event for the development of classical music in the republic and emphasized its contribution to the creation of a positive image of Dagestan. "The festival "Port-Petrovskie Assemblies" unites musicians of the republic, Russia and the world, promotes cooperation and creation of new creative projects" - Butayeva said.
