55 investment projects worth over RUB 448 billion are currently being implemented in Dagestan. Most of them are in key sectors of the economy: industry, agriculture, construction and tourism. The chairman of the republican government Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov told this on the sidelines of the economic forum in St. Petersburg.

The top official noted that the top five breakthrough projects, in his opinion, are: the Glass Cluster, the Caspian Coast Cluster, the Fruit and Vegetable Cluster, the Transport and Logistics Cluster and the "City of Shoemakers" strategic project. These projects have already received RUB 23.1 billion of investments, including RUB 11.9 billion of private investments.

According to the head of the republic, the economy of Dagestan managed to attract 350 billion rubles in 2023, an increase of 7.2% compared to the previous year. To support business in the region, a register of investment projects was created and a regional investment standard was introduced. The republic has governmental Investment Agency and an Investment Committee. The investment map of Dagestan has been integrated into the overall investment map of Russia, providing a comprehensive overview of investment opportunities in the region.
