Abdussamad Gamidov set to establish special working group on assisting refugees from Ukraine

Makhachkala, June 24, 2014. On June 23, Daghestan Prime Minister Abdussamad Gamidov chaired an ad hoc meeting to discuss a number of urgent issues with his 1st deputy Anatoly Karibov, vice-premiers Ramazan Jafarov, Arsen Gassanov, and other executive authorities.
Anatoly Karibov reported on measures taken to house IDPs from Ukraine - the first 56 IDPs arrived in Daghestan June 20. "We provided all conditions for their comfortable stay. People are placed in sanatoriums and rest homes. Moreover, 64 people will stay with hosting Daghestan families. Today, they began a clinical examination of all refugees, if necessary, they will be vaccinated and provided medical and psychological assistance," he said. Summarizing the issue, Abdussamad Gamidov instructed to establish a working group on assisting refugees from Ukraine.
Participants also discussed the situation with wholesale and retail markets, and some other issues of Daghestan’s socio-economic development.
