The agro-industrial complex of Dagestan will receive substantial financial support from the federal budget in 2025.  According to an official statement from the regional government, subsidies will amount to RUB 3.5 billion, marking a significant increase compared to previous years. This represents a growth of RUB 678 million over 2024 and nearly doubles the funding allocated in 2017.

The increased investment has yielded positive results, with agricultural production exhibiting robust growth. By the end of 2024, the agricultural production index reached 106.1%, the highest figure recorded in a decade. Notably, viticulture and winemaking have experienced a surge in federal support, rising from RUB 226.4 million in 2021 to approximately RUB 1 billion projected in 2025.

This robust state backing has facilitated the attraction of over RUB 10 billion annually in extra-budgetary funds for Dagestan's agro-industrial complex, further bolstering its development and growth potential.
