This has been announced today by the deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Andrei Yatskin at the meeting of the Council on Agro-industrial Complex and Nature Management under the Federation Council in Mineralnye Vody. Karachay-Cherkessia, Stavropol Territory and Kalmykia have also been named among the pilot subjects.

Andrei Yatskin noted that the meeting was held to prepare proposals for the development of production and deep processing of wool, to submit them to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, the relevant ministries and departments as well as to the members of the Council of Federation. It is reported that the senators together with the specialized agencies established an interdepartmental working group to boost the process.
