The Abilympics regional championship, organized by the Presidential Platform "Russia – the Land of Opportunities" has commenced in the Republic. The competition will take place at R.N. Ashuraliev Technical College, which will host over 230 participants competing in the categories "Pupils", "Students" and "Specialists".

These participants will showcase their skills across a total of 32 key competencies, ranging fr om "Engineering Design" and "Massage Therapy" to "Pottery", "Medical and Social Care", "Pre-school Education", "Tailoring", "Primary School Teaching", "Database Administration", "Web Design", "Economics and Accounting", "Cooking", "Automotive Repair", "Social Work", "Graphic Design", "Psychology" and "Hairdressing".

For over a decade, the Abilympics movement has been paving the way for individuals with disabilities, providing them with opportunities to explore new professional paths. This movement contributes to the creation of an inclusive society, wh ere everyone has the opportunity to fully realize their potential.

The Abilympics regional competitions will be held in all 89 constituent entities of the Russian Federation in 2025, with over 25,000 participants expected to take part. These individuals will have an unique opportunity to showcase their exceptional talents and abilities in a diverse range of fields, exceeding two hundred disciplines.

The Abilympics movement in Russia, which commenced in 2014, has been actively fostering the empowerment of individuals with disabilities, providing them with the necessary support and resources for comprehensive rehabilitation. Since 2018, Abilympics has become an integral part of the presidential platform “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”.
