Governor of Dagestan Sergei Melikov has issued a decree restricting the dissemination of certain types of information in the region. This decree prohibits the publication and sharing of details related to terrorist attacks, drone strikes conducted by Ukrainian forces, the deployment of Russian Defense Ministry personnel and critical infrastructure locations.

Similar restrictions are currently in effect across several Northwestern Federal District regions, including St. Petersburg, Leningrad Region, Pskov Region and the Republic of Karelia.  In the Far East, Primorsky Territory remains under such a ban.
The decree specifically prohibits the publication and sharing of:

* Photographic or video evidence, as well as textual descriptions of terrorist incidents and sabotage activities.

* Information regarding the utilization of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) by Ukrainian forces, encompassing details about their type, launch location, point of impact, flight trajectory and any resulting damage.

* Operational data pertaining to the air defense and electronic warfare capabilities employed by the Russian Defense Ministry.

* Locations of military installations, anti-drone systems, and critical infrastructure sites such as bridges, energy facilities, communication hubs, and industrial centers.

Notably, these restrictions do not apply to official publications issued by Russian federal authorities. The regional authorities strongly urge residents to adhere to these measures, emphasizing that the public disclosure of sensitive information could compromise national security by providing valuable intelligence to hostile forces.
