Dagmeliovodkhoz Federal State Budgetary Institution utilizes water supply revenue to fund the repair and maintenance of crucial irrigation infrastructure.  This year's efforts have focused on restoring key canals and collectors across various districts, including Terechny (Khasavyurt), Sukhorechye (Tarumovsky), Staro-Tselinny, Staro-Engineering, Barbaleika, Novo-Terechny (Kizlyar), Berkubu and Tagirken (Magaramkentsky).  In Babayurt district, the Prisulaksky canal and the K-4-6 collector underwent cleaning.

Furthermore, the aqueduct supplying water to Akhvakh district's livestock farming operations has been refurbished. Acting on directives from the regional governor, Sergei Melikov, the Ala-Misha canal received a thorough cleaning. Future plans for 2025 include major repairs for 13 land reclamation facilities, utilizing over 125 million rubles in additional funding, supplementing federal subsidies.

Flood control measures are actively pursued through canal clearance at 54 locations, covering a total distance of 403.7 kilometers. Remediation efforts have addressed the aftermath of natural disasters, including incidents on the ducker of the Maly Sulak canal, the K-4-1 collector in Kirovsky district, the Mikrah-Karakyurinsky and Ala-Misha inter-farm canals, and a section of the KOR canal in Semender settlement. The Borozdinovskaya Gap main canal has also been cleared.

According to Dagmeliovodkhoz Federal State Budgetary Institution, these initiatives have significantly contributed to achieving record harvests for rice and grapes, along with exceptional yields for vegetables and other agricultural crops.
