The Republic of Dagestan has received the Golden Roller award for the successful implementation of the "Safe Quality Roads" national target project. The region has achieved impressive results in terms of both the timeliness and quality of the work performed, as well as the efficient use of allocated funds, the local authorities report

Over the course of this year alone, Dagestan repaired 45.2 kilometers of roads under the Safe Quality Roads program. Besides, the State Program for the Development of the Transport Complex continues to be implemented, resulting in the construction and reconstruction of 45.5 kilometers of roadways and five bridges, as well as the repair of 397.2 kilometers and 13 bridges. Work is ongoing to maintain the road network, and several measures are being taken to improve road safety.

Plans are underway to construct bypass roads around major cities, as well as an access road leading to the Makhachkala commercial port.
