Dagestan spends approx. RUB 132.6 billion on implementation of national projects

Over the past six years, a total of RUB 132.6 billion has been allocated from federal and regional budgets to implement 14 national projects. The republic has made significant strides in the fields of healthcare and education.
Under the national “Healthcare” target project, the republic has seen the construction of 358 healthcare facilities, the provision of 339 medical vehicles, 1544 pieces of medical equipment, recruitment of 1020 physicians and 158 nurses through the “Zemsky Doctor” program.
As part of the national “Education” project, 60 new schools with a capacity of 23,578 students were built as well as 106 teachers were hired under the “Zemsky Teacher” program. Efforts were also made to equip educational institutions with material and technological resources as part of creating a digital learning environment.
