Dagestan plans to declare a moratorium on the increase in rent for agricultural land. This was announced by the Minister of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Dagestan Zaur Eminov. According to the deputy Prime Minister, a draft regulatory legal act is at the stage of coordination.

“This, I believe, is a measure of state support, and a significant one, which the Government of the Republic of Dagestan can take to support agricultural producers. I would like to thank the People's Assembly which supported the Ministry’s initiative.

Currently, the legal act is at the stage of approval, including with many municipalities where agricultural lands are located. If it is agreed without any amendments at the municipal level, I think that such an act will be adopted in the republican Parliament" - Eminov said.
