The delegation from Dagestan, led by the head of the republic Sergei Melikov, will participate in the Caucasus Investment Forum, which will take place in Grozny on July 15 - 17. The forum is a platform for presenting investment projects and opportunities from the regions of the North Caucasian Federal District. It provides an opportunity to discuss key issues, assess the investment potential of each region and find new directions and solutions for businesses. The program includes over 60 events, such as roundtables, business sessions and masterclasses.

The key slogan of the CIF-2024 is "Greater Caucasus - from sea to sea". The event will focus on infrastructure, agro-industrial complex, tourism and logistics, human resources, banking, housing and utilities and energy. The Forum will be attended by the heads of federal agencies and republics, heads of state corporations, business representatives and experts.

Sergei Melikov will present Dagestan's pioneering projects to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. The head of the republic is scheduled to meet with Alexander Novak, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Gustov, Director General of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz, Vladimir Skurikhin, Regional Development Director of MegaFon PJSC and Grigory Nazarov, Director General of NovaWind JSC.

Besides, Dagestan will present its stand stylized as the Akhtyn Fortress. The republic will also present a project on reconstruction and restoration of this historical site. After the restoration the object will become a place of attraction for the tourists.

It is planned to sign several agreements, including those on tourism and recreation, for the implementation of the "Caspian Coast Cluster" project. This project aims to promote cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and other areas with Kabardino-Balkaria and North Ossetia-Alania.
