The Head of Dagestan Sergei Melikov met with the director general of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Sergei Gustov to discuss the key aspects of gas infrastructure development in the region.
Within the framework of the gas supply and development program for the period 2021–2025, fifteen settlements have been gasified, enabling the connection of over two thousand households and the conversion of thirty-three boiler houses to natural gas.
Approximately eleven thousand contracts for further gasification have been concluded, with more than seven thousand executed up to the boundary of land plots. Eleven applications from educational and healthcare institutions have been approved and implemented, resulting in five connections.
Prior to the gasification process, essential materials, technical equipment and personnel were provided. Particular emphasis was placed on social support measures, including subsidies for certain categories of citizens amounting to up to one hundred thousand rubles for installation of gas equipment. The parties engaged in a discussion regarding the operations of the Unified Heat Supply Operator successfully functioning in the region since 2022. This operator guarantees a continuous supply of heat and ensures timely payment for energy resources.
Furthermore, the top officials reviewed the process of consolidating gas distribution networks under the control of organizations affiliated with the Gazprom Mezhregiongaz group. This initiative is expected to expedite the connection of new structures and settlements to the gas networks, accelerate the initial stages of gasification, and contribute to the maintenance of stability and reliability in gas supply.
