A large-scale anti-terrorism forum will be held in Makhachkala on November 13-14. The main goal of the event is to develop new strategies to more effectively combat extremism and terrorism in the republic.
During the three-day forum, participants will focus on three main areas: working with young people, shaping information policy and promoting inter-ethnic and religious harmony.
Experts will discuss current security issues and strategies for fighting terrorism and extremism, while participants will have an opportunity to learn about anti-terror materials, attend workshops, lectures and discussions on collaboration with educational institutions. The event will also include meetings with members of the Public Chamber and Council of Elders.
The event will bring together representatives from the expert community, government agencies, law enforcement bodies, public and religious organizations, as well as young people's associations, university students and many others.
