The Russian Prime Minister, Mikhail Mishustin, has authorized the allocation of RUB 602.8 million from the government's reserve fund to support energy and housing infrastructure development in three North Caucasian republics: Ingushetia, Dagestan and North Ossetia-Alania.
This financial assistance is scheduled for disbursement in May 2025 and will be partially utilized to offset expenses incurred by these republics. The decision to allocate funds was driven by the commendable high rates of utility bill payment observed in these regions. Specifically, North Ossetia demonstrated a payment rate of at least 87.6%, Dagestan achieved a rate of at least 84.5%, and Ingushetia recorded a rate of at least 81.3%.
Dagestan will receive the largest portion of funding, amounting to RUB 310.4 million. These funds are earmarked for implementing regional programs focused on strengthening the housing and communal services sector, attracting qualified personnel and establishing economically sound tariffs.
