At a recent presentation hosted by the Cultural Center of the Main Department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Sergei Melikov, Head of the Republic of Dagestan, declared that over 600 thousand tourists visited the coast of the Caspian Sea in Dagestan in 2024.
  
In his speech, the regional governor highlighted Dagestan's ability to support a wide range of recreational activities. This presentation, which focused on showcasing Dagestan's tourism, economic potential and investment opportunities, took place in the Cultural Centre of Main Directorate for servicing the diplomatic corps under the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Russia. The event highlighted Dagestan's accomplishments in various sectors, such as industry and agriculture, as well as presented its notable attractions to a broader audience.
