The National Centre "Russia" was created in the country by the order of the Russian President Vladimir Putin. It is organised to preserve the heritage of its predecessor - the exhibition of the same name, which will be held fr om November 2023 to July 2024 at the VDNKh (acronym meaning "the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy").

The Centre is expected to preserve and promote spirituality, traditional values and historical memory, the Russian President V.Putin told the United Russia party congress.

“Our clear, ambitious and step-by-step development program for the nation is underpinned by a strong and truly national consensus. The solidarity, unity of the people, their belief in the future of country and our victory mean a great deal.
These ideas are rooted in a shared understanding of Russia's fundamental and sovereign interests, a desire to safeguard the security of our country, protect our sacred historical memory, spiritual values and traditions - those shared values that the National Center "Russia", wh ere we are today, is dedicated to preserve and promote” - the President said.
