Ramazan Abdulatipov congratulates Daghestani war veterans in Moscow
Moscow, May 2, 2014. Daghestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov congratulated war veterans living in Moscow, the Press Service Board of the Daghestan Head of Government’s Administration told RIA "Daghestan".
A ceremonial reception to honour heroes of the World War II was taking place in Daghestan Permanent Mission at the Russian President. Evenings like that on the eve of the Victory Day celebrations are a good tradition in Daghestan Permanent Mission.
Holder of the Patriotic War Order famous sculptor Abdulazhid Gazaliev, Holder of the Patriotic War Order and 2 Red Star Orders, an Order of Glory, and an Order of Courage Lieutenant-General Viktor Svistunov, Holder of the Patriotic War Order and two Red Star Orders Islam Aliskerov, Holder of the Lenin Order, an October Revolution Order, a Red Banner Order, a Patriotic War Order, and a Red Star Order Idris Idrissov, Veteran of labour front, Holder of the "Badge of Honour" Order, "850 years of Moscow" medalist, "Veteran of Labour" medalist, member of the Russia Artists’ Union Clara Vlasova - they all honourably lived through the Great Patriotic War protecting our homeland from fascist invaders.
Speaking to the veterans, Daghestani Leader noted that for us, veterans are the most precious phenomenon remaining from the Soviet Union.
"You understand Russia like none of us, you more deeply comprehend and experience everything happening now. Today, everyone needs to understand the value of patriotism, to understand it the way you understand it. It is important that the patriotic spirit that emerged against the background of Russia's victory at the Olympic Games and annexation of Crimea, not transform into nationalism, but dig in people’s minds forever. I am always very glad to see you - both here and in Daghestan. We love you, we respect you and we are proud of you!" - concluded Ramazan Abdulatipov.
