Melikov, the Head of Dagestan and Repik, the Chairman of the Business Russia Association, convened a meeting aimed at fostering entrepreneurship in the Republic. Zaur Askenderov, the Speaker of Dagestani Parliament, also attended the event, held at the Permanent Mission of Dagestan to the President of the Russian Federation.

The participants explored strategies to support small and medium-sized enterprises in the region and address economic imbalances. Repik underscored the resilience of the Russian economy, highlighting its growth amidst sanctions.

Melikov highlighted the significance of robust industrial growth in Dagestan, stressing the crucial role of entrepreneurship and investment in driving the republic's future economic expansion.

Askenderov acknowledged Business Russia's pivotal contribution as a state partner in fostering both economic and social development within the region. The Parliament Speaker expressed his appreciation for Repik's efforts in cultivating a business-friendly environment. Furthermore, Askenderov emphasized that Dagestan government actively pursued significant investment initiatives aimed to generate employment opportunities and integrate advanced technological solutions.

Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to hold an Entrepreneurs Forum with participation of prominent figures from Business Russia and esteemed federal experts in Makhachkala in October.
