There may be more cancellations in the future but not as a trend. Tourists will arrive as planned. A group from Ekaterinburg arrived yesterday and spent a night in Makhachkala before continuing on to Derbent today, according to their itinerary.

Several tour operators who are members of the Russian Association of Tour Operators have reported that security checks have been slightly increased in some areas, but tourists have not reported any significant issues.
