Makhachkala, July 31, 2014. The regional young leaders’ forum "Chindirchero" has been launched in Dagestan to bring together around 70 participants. The project manager, head of Daghestan State University’s student union committee, chairman of the committee on science, culture, education and youth policy of Daghestan Public Chamber Magomed Kurbanov told RIA "Dagestan" about the forum and the participants.

He said the forum is part of a regional school for training young leaders operating on the basis of the DSU trade union committee. "It’s the third forum in the row. This year’s forum is going to attract about 70 participants: DSU students, youth from Akushinskiy districct, Makhachkala youth MPs, and Daghestani young leaders, mostly girls," he added.

It will be a 3-day event. The first day will feature workshops on team building and leadership by Russian youth union experts from Pyatigorsk Ekaterina Borisevich and Murad Ibragimov. The second day will allow the participants to visit a blogger school to learn promoting information in the media. Then, the experts will teach them to make up projects. On the third day, they’ll have some VIP meetings with famous people and Daghestan public figures like minister of youth affairs Zaur Kurbanov, deputy minister of press and information Zubairu Zubayruev, DSU rector Murtazali Rabadanov, etc.

On the final day, participants will go sightseeing.

"We expect the forum to end up in breeding young people who can make up and defend their projects at various forums, show an active civic position, and be active public figures. Furthermore, we want to unite our youth - students from different universities representing different ethnic groups will come to the forum. We want them to become a team, we want their partnership," Kurbanov said.
