According to Avito Work and Avito Travel analysis, Dagestan has emerged as a leader in wage growth within Russia's travel industry.  Data from the first half of 2024-2025 reveals substantial progress in this area for the region. Notably, the average income for tourism professionals in Dagestan surged by 21% during the reporting period, reaching nearly RUB 60,000 rubles (RUB 59,912 rubles) per month.

This significant salary increase is attributed to a marked rise in tourist arrivals.  Supporting this observation, daily living bookings in Dagestan have experienced a fivefold surge compared to the same period last year.
