The All-Russian Festival of National Broadcasting "Voice of Eurasia - 2024" has started in Dagestan.  The event is organized by Dagestan State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company with support of the regional government.

This year's festival is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of defeat of the international terrorist gangs that invaded Dagestan in 1999. This event was a key turning point in the history of the republic and helped to define its modern identity.

The festival features creative competitions, masterclasses, discussion panels and excursions around the region. Journalists, filmmakers and camera operators will have an opportunity to enhance their professional skills, share experiences and discover new approaches to covering ethno-cultural topics.
The event started with a roundtable discussion on the defeat of international gangs. Participants, including veterans of those events and law enforcement officers shared their experiences in fighting terrorism.

During the discussion, the participants emphasized the significance of preserving the historical memory of those who fought to defend Dagestan against international terrorism. They also discussed the current challenges and threats to Russia's national security. The festival will last from August 29th to September 1st.
