The International scientific-practical conference "Spiritual heritage of Sheikh Muhammad Yaragsky and his contribution to strengthening of interethnic harmony in Dagestan" was held in Makhachkala. The representatives of state authorities, religious figures of Russia and neighboring countries as well as public figures attended the event.

"Muhammad Yaragsky is a great scholar who had many disciples. It is known that people from Europe and Asia came to him for knowledge. His name became famous in many countries of the world. He united the people. And today it is extremely important for us to educate the younger generation on the study of the spiritual heritage of Dagestani theologians and preserve the historical continuity" - The rector of Dagestan Humanitarian Institute Nukhkadi Bakhmudkadadiev said.

The Institute representatives Muradulla Dadayev and Khanjan Kurbanov delivered reports "Spiritual path of Sheikh Muhammad Yaragsky" and "Muhammad Yaragsky as a reflection of Dagestani whitewashing".
