Over RUB 35.9 million rubles were allocated and utilized for the capital repair of two major Olympic reserve sports schools in Makhachkala this year. The funds were directed toward the renovation of:

•    The State Budgetary Institution of Additional Education "Olympic Reserve Sports School named after A. Mirzabekov"
•    The State Budgetary Institution "Regional Center for Sports Training of National Teams"

Simultaneously, the federal project "Development of Physical Culture and Mass Sports" is funding the construction of nine new GTO (Ready for Labor and Defense) sports grounds. With total funding of 34.4 million rubles, eight of the nine facilities are already fully operational, providing new public fitness spaces for the city's residents.
