Deaf-Blind Support Foundation forum to take place in Dagestan

Makhachkala, January 19, 2017. In September 2017, the European Rehabilitation and Cultural Week for the Deaf-blind people will take place in Dagestan. The event is initiated by the deaf-blind support foundation "Co-unity".
Recall, the ERCW is held since 1997, and during this period, the European Rehabilitation and Cultural Week took place in many European countries: Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, France and many others. In 2015, Russia hosted such a large-scale and significant event people with a simultaneous hearing and visual impairment for the first time in its history. The forum was held in Moscow with the participation of more than 200 people from 15 countries.
The extensive program prepared for the participants, told about the traditions and culture of our country from ancient times to the present. The European Rehabilitation and Cultural Week held in the Russian folk style. Besides, the event included trips across the historical sites in Moscow and to the most beautiful cities of the Moscow region.
The special attention was paid to the places associated with the rehabilitation and prevention of the problem of deaf-blindness.
The chairman of Dagestan republican organization of All-Russian Society for the Blind Khavlatip Nazirgadzhiev and his deputy Khadizhat Isakova asked the director of the tourist information center "Dagestan" Akhmed Gudov to assist in organizing and holding the forum in Dagestan.
In his turn, Gudov informed that Dagestani Minister for Tourism and Folk crafts Magomed Isayev assured his readiness to provide all possible assistance in the implementation of the project.
