According to the Russian Union of Travel Industry, Dagestan experiences a surge in tourism in 2025, emerging as a highly sought-after summer destination.  The region's robust growth in domestic tourism is attributed to its distinctive offerings: idyllic beach vacations along the Caspian Sea coast, an extensive range of cultural excursions and competitive pricing.

Leading tour operators report a substantial increase in demand for tours to Dagestan, with growth estimates ranging from 15% to 25% compared to the previous year. This surge in interest is driven by both its natural and cultural attractions and the region's proactive development of tourism infrastructure.

New hotels, restaurants and improved beaches are enhancing visitor experiences, while the creation of comfortable recreational areas further contributes to Dagestan's appeal. Experts predict that, given its current trajectory of infrastructure development and quality tourist services, Dagestan is poised to become one of Russia's top five beach destinations in the near future.
