Experts of P.Hertsen Moscow Oncology Research have arrived in the Republic of Dagestan to screen the local residents as part of the All-Russia Cancer Patrol project. Recall this event is carried out in the country since 2019.

The Republican Public Health Ministry hosted an introductory meeting with specialists of the Center. The event included medical examinations, meetings with students, master classes, training seminars and demonstration surgeries in oncogynecology and oncomammology.

It is worth noting that the Cancer Patrol event had already taken place in Dagestan in 2022, when a group of specialists from the Radiological Research Centre worked in the region for five days. During this time, almost 800 employees of Dagdiesel plant received medical check-ups and qualified advice.

The main goal of the Cancer Patrol initiative is to promote personal health and encourage citizens to take better care of themselves. By providing free medical services to employees of an industrial enterprise, we aim to help people prevent health problems and lead healthier lives.
