Dagestan hosted the 5th anniversary international conference "The Heritage of Muslim Theologians in Strengthening Spiritual and Moral Values and Civil Identity". The event served as a respected platform for dialogue, uniting religious and public figures, government representatives, and scholars from various regions of Russia and foreign countries.

Forum participants addressed a wide range of pressing issues dedicated to preserving traditional values in an era of global challenges. The discussions focused on the unique role of the historical and intellectual heritage of Muslim theologians in strengthening social cohesion, developing intercultural dialogue, and maintaining interreligious harmony.

Damir Khayretdinov, Deputy Director for Educational Projects, addressed the attendees via video conference. In his speech, he emphasized the fundamental role of spiritual and moral foundations for the country's sustainable development.

"Strengthening the spiritual and moral foundations of society is a key factor for the country's sustainable development, and traditional values remain the bedrock of Russian civil identity" - Khayretdinov stated.

The conference was organized by Dagestan Humanitarian Institute with support of the Foundation for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science, and Education. The event clearly demonstrated the relevance of the scientific and theological understanding of traditional values as a fundamental pillar of civil peace and unity in a modern multi-confessional society.
